Hanano Specialist Hospital (HSH) is a non-governmental and non for profit hospital.
HSH was established in 1993. The Hospital was later rebuilt in 2008 at KM4-Mogadishu. It occupies a rented land area equal to 5400 m2.
HSH consists of 2 broad types of hospital services; primary, and secondary health services.
The primary healthcare services include; maternal child health care, family planning, HIV/STI Care, general medical care, medical care for sexual and gender-based violence victims, nutrition monitoring, and health education.
The secondary healthcare services include; general surgery, general medicine, obstetrics & gynecology (O&G), orthopedics, pediatrics, mental health care, 24 hour accident & emergency (A&E), outpatient clinics, bedside nursing, and medical nursing.
Along with our 2 types of services, HSH also offers some tertiary health services.
These include; laboratory diagnostics, X-Ray, ultrasound, electrocardiogram (ECG), echocardiogram.
HSH also has a secondary healthcare site located in the Abdiaziz district. This medical center, MCH (Maternal and Child Health Care) is limited to the medical care of women in or nearing labor. This facility assists in bringing mothers to full health, along with providing the newly born infants with nutritional supplementation, immunization, and other services that do not exist at HSH, to aid in bringing the infants to full health.
Other services HSH offers include; an ambulance team, blood collection, and 24 hour on site security.
