Hanano Specialist Hospital (HSH) is a non-governmental, non-profit healthcare institution committed to providing accessible, safe, and quality healthcare services to communities in Mogadishu and surrounding areas. Since its establishment in 1993<\/span><\/strong>, Hanano has continued to contribute to the delivery of essential healthcare services, with a particular focus on maternal and child health, emergency care, general medical and surgical services, and essential clinical and diagnostic care.<\/p>

Hanano Specialist Hospital provides a broad range of healthcare services designed to respond to the diverse needs of patients and families. Its primary healthcare services<\/span><\/strong> include maternal and child healthcare, family planning, HIV\/STI care, general medical care, medical support for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence, nutrition monitoring, and health education.<\/p>

At the secondary healthcare level<\/span><\/strong>, the hospital provides general medicine, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, pediatrics, mental health services, outpatient care, inpatient nursing care, and 24-hour Accident and Emergency services<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>

To support timely diagnosis and effective clinical management, Hanano also provides selected diagnostic and specialized services<\/span><\/strong>, including laboratory diagnostics, X-ray, ultrasound, electrocardiography (ECG), and echocardiography.<\/p>

Maternal and child health<\/span><\/strong> remains an important part of Hanano’s healthcare services. In addition to services provided at the main hospital, Hanano operates a secondary healthcare facility in Abdiaziz District<\/span><\/strong>, providing maternal and child health services, particularly for women during pregnancy and around the time of delivery.<\/p>

The facility also supports newborn care<\/span><\/strong> through nutritional support, immunization, and other essential interventions, helping mothers and newborns receive appropriate care during the critical period following childbirth.<\/p>

Hanano operates a 24-hour Accident and Emergency service<\/span><\/strong>, providing immediate medical attention to patients requiring urgent care. The hospital is also supported by an ambulance service, enabling the transportation and referral of patients when higher-level or specialized care is required.<\/p>

The hospital maintains essential supporting services, including blood collection, diagnostic services, pharmacy services, nursing care, and 24-hour on-site security<\/span><\/strong>, contributing to continuity and quality of patient care.<\/p>

Hanano continues to strengthen its healthcare services through ongoing improvements to its facilities, medical equipment, diagnostic capacity, clinical services, and patient care systems.
